Marks and Spencer have introduce a UK-wide ban ahead of the festive season - and it's divided shoppers.
As Christmas approaches, people will soon be wrapping their gifts and for many, it will be wrapped in plastic.
However the supermarket have decided to remove the plastic from its wrapping in a bid to be more environmentally friendly.

The chain has confirmed the change with an M&S spokesperson saying: "We’re really proud that for the second year running our Christmas greeting cards, gift bags and wrapping paper are all plastic-free – and 100% recyclable.
"We’ve had fantastic feedback from customers and have carried out testing to make sure the labels on our wrapping paper rolls are easy to remove and do not cause damage."
Despite having great feedback, according to Birmingham Live, not everyone is impressed with the move dividing shoppers.
On one review a shopper wrote: "This wrapping paper is of very high quality but whoever manufactures it and decided to secure each roll in 3 sections with an adhesive band obviously didn’t undertake any testing. When trying to remove the adhesive bands you find they peel away in tiny pieces to the point they damage the wrapping paper and you instantly lose 6/8 inches on each roll. This is such a shame as like I said the actual paper, whilst not cheap, is very good."
Another wrote: "Bought this wrapping paper with 5 peel me stickers which where very hard to remove and kept tearing and damaging the wrapping paper, this was to be a quick job now still trying to remove stickers. Wrapping paper design in lovely but first 20cm of paper will have to be cut off."
In response to one critic on social media, the chain wrote: "We have removed all the plastic from our entire Christmas roll wrap range this year. And to help ensure you still have the same M&S quality we have added an extra 15cm of paper to account for any paper damaged during the removal of stickers.
"So you have exactly the same amount of usable wrap as last year, we just use the extra wrap as protection." It came after a consumer wrote: "Started wrapping my Christmas presents this morning, using the wrapping paper I got from Marks & Spencer last month in Paris.
"Which made me unbelievably angry. It is plastic free and also ruined on half a metre because the damn stickers don't peel off properly! What a waste!"
