Indian equities extended their rebound for a second consecutive session on Tuesday, with benchmark indices closing higher as a further decline in crude oil prices eased some of the macroeconomic pressure weighing on market sentiment.
The Nifty 50 ended at 22,714.80, up 195.05 points, or 0.71%, while the Sensex gained 685.34 points, or 0.95%, to settle at 73,067.81.
