What could have been the most epic brawl in history has been brought to a standstill.
Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have been publicly feuding on social media since June -- probably in no small part due to Zuckerberg's launch of Threads, a very Twitter-like (or X-like, if you're on board with Musk's new name) platform.

But on Aug. 13, Zuck took to Threads (META) -) to announce that he was dismissing the great tech bro showdown.
"I think we can all agree Elon isn't serious and it's time to move on," Zuckerberg wrote. "I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won't confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead. If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I'm going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously."
Earlier in the day, Musk tweeted out a text conversation between the two that is simply bristling with machismo on both ends.
