Mark Wright heads to his old work place Universal Studios during a luxurious trip to LA

Mark Wright returned to his former workplace at Universal Studios during a trip to Los Angeles after he quit because he missed his family so much.

The former TOWIE star reminisced over his old stomping ground where he used to present tv show Extra.

This comes after Mark, 35, denied being blacklisted by home channel ITV after he pulled out of their sports reality show The Games.

The Heart DJ wrote on Instagram : "I'm absolutely not banned from ITV, in fact I'm doing a show for ITV three months from now. "The show that 'I quit' hadn't even signed a contract for!

"I 'called' the producer not text to tell her I'd had a change of heart on the show because I realised I'd had too many other commitments already to make it work.

"The media outlet who wrote this are not to blame. They can only believe what the person who is making this up is telling them."

The former TOWIE star and his wife Michelle Keegan had "the trip of a life time" in the LA sunshine.

During their holiday they paid a visit to Universal Studios in Hollywood with pals.

Sharing a snap on his Instagram of the group sitting in front of the sign, he wrote: "What a fun day @unistudios love that place. Even after working there for a few years it still feels like the first time I ever went, the excitement is real. Big thank you to #universalstudioshollywood"

The celebrity couple enjoyed a slice of luxury during their trip and stayed in a $3,825 a night five bedroom villa.

The lavish property was walking distance from the Runyon Canyon trail and nestled off Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills.

The description on the villa's website reads: "From [the] spacious balcony, you’ll be able to see from the valley, on to the Hollywood sign, and all the way to Catalina.

"The hills of Hollywood are home to some of the most architecturally stunning homes in America, and Rouge Elite fits right in. Open concept layout and a curved glass wall with vanishing doors allow barrier-free access and seamless flow from inside to out, and it frames the Los Angeles skyline perfectly."
