Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have given fans a glimpse of their new bathroom, as renovation work at their lavish Essex mansion is still ongoing.
The couple moved into the property in September last year, after purchasing it in October 2019 for £1.3million.
The property has undergone a full overhaul since, and after years of construction work, the five-bedroom mansion is now complete with a bar, gym, annexe and outdoor swimming pool, after it started its life as a simple farmhouse.
The demolition and rebuild of the property has been valued at around £3.5 million.
Former TOWIE star, Mark, 36, and actress Michelle, 35, have been documenting the renovation process on Instagram.
They uploaded a couple of snaps of their brand new “his and hers” bathroom, featuring a floating marble vanity unit with two gold sinks, and large mirrors adorning the walls.
Mark also shared a short video to his Instagram page of the couple’s new bedroom, which features a bespoke bed with a pop-up TV.
He wrote: “One of our favourite things about our house is the view from our bedroom. Wasn’t going to block that with a tv…. But we need a tv in our bedroom…. Soooo Simon @clarkeinfinity came up with this fantastic idea!”
Fans of the couple were recently treated to some more home updates, including pictures of the dining room, home to a marble table with beige shearling chairs.
Above the round table was an opulent gold chandelier with glass orb light shades, casting plenty of light around the room alongside the wall-to-ceiling windows.
Mark uploaded some pictures of the couple’s home furnishings, including a pair of round urns and a carving of a women's figure.
Photos of the couple on their wedding day were arranged on a sideboard between two cream lamps.
However, some followers weren’t sure on the neutral colour scheme, with one saying "Each to their own but a bit of colour would be welcome here and there".
Another wrote: "All a bit too beige for my liking".
A third said: "It's brand new, give them a couple of years to look lived in".
The renovation has been far from plain sailing for the pair, with Mark updating fans on social media about the house being almost finished.
He wrote: "A process that has been extremely mentally and physically tough at times but one that is so rewarding. On to the final stages now and can't wait for you to see it all come together 100 per cent."
