Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan show off latest glimpse of £3.5m mansion as they tease first look inside

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have shared the latest glimpse of their incredible multi-million mansion which is nearing full completion. The former The Only Way Is Essex star and Coronation Street actress have been keeping fans up to date on the progress of their dream home on their Instagram account @wrightyhome which has now amassed 406,000 followers.

The celebrity pair bought a mock-Tudor style house in Essex back in October 2019 and began knocking it down in 2020 to rebuild their very own luxury mansion, which is estimated to be worth around £3.5 million according to the Mail Online.

Michelle and Mark, who celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary in May, previously showed fans the amazing transformation of their huge driveway. A video showed the area looking like a building site before semi-pro footballer Mark clicked his fingers to unveil a beautifully paved grey driveway.

The couple also recently shared a glimpse of stunning outdoor lighting that had been added to the front and rear of the property as well as plans for their resort-like garden, which is set to feature a giant pool, in-water loungers, sunbeds and two seating areas with fire pits.

The latest snap of the home showed it set amongst a gorgeous orange sky amid the UK heatwave. Asking whether he should frame it as artwork for the house, Mark proudly captioned: "The sky over the house the other night. Genuinely not a single filter used!! Might frame it as artwork for the house?."

The 35-year-old TV personality then teased that fans would soon start to see a glimpse of the inside of the property, as Mark noted he has only shown outside so far.

"Shown a lot of the exterior recently. who’s ready to start seeing the inside??," he added, as well as putting a poll up on his Instagram story asking people to vote yes or no to the question.

So far followers of Mark and Michelle's home venture have only seen the carpet that had been laid indoors, with Mark sharing some rules that will come into force when the couple move in.

Earlier this month he filmed tradesmen laying the brand new carpet, and said: "This is when it feels like a proper home."

Once the underlay was down and the carpet was rolled out, Mark could be heard saying: "The colour is revealed... and this is why if you come to this house you will never be wearing shoes, or socks, you'll be washing your feet. Basically pure white with a little hint of cream, and the best thing about this, this is eco-friendly, recycled from the ocean. "

Whilst her husband oversees work on the new pad, Michelle has recently been filming for new BBC drama Ten Pound Poms, created by Bafta-award winner Danny Brocklehurst. The Brassic star will lead the original six-part series, set in Australia, alongside Games Of Thrones star Faye Marsay and Luther actor Warren Brown.

The drama will follow a group who have been promised a better quality of life in Australia for only £10, leaving behind post-war Britain. The 35-year-old, from Stockport, will play young nurse Kate, who arrives in Australia without her fiancé and will do whatever it takes to “rewrite her devastating past”, the BBC said.

At the heart of the drama is Annie and Terry Roberts, played by Marsay and Brown, who are trying to do the best for their family despite the poor living conditions of the migrant hostel and local attitudes towards immigrants. They will star alongside Leon Ford’s character Bill, who has lost his family business and wants to prove he is living the Australian dream.
