Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan show off 'dream come true' addition to £3.5m mansion as it nears completion

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have given fans a glimpse of the latest addition to their huge mansion. After working on building their dream home together in Essex for the last two years, their extravagant £3.5 million property is finally almost complete.

The former Only Way Is Essex star and Coronation Street actress have been keeping their dedicated fans up to date with the progress of their home on their Instagram account @wrightyhome, which has now amassed more than 430,000 followers.

The married couple bought a mock-Tudor style house in Essex back in October 2019 and began knocking it down in July 2020 to rebuild their very own luxury, Georgian-style mansion.

During the process Mark has been getting stuck in with the building work whilst wife Michelle has been spending time in Australia filming a new TV drama.

The 35-year-old TV personality and former semi pro footballer has been sharing inspiration for their designs as well as updates of the process along the way, including the amazing transformation of their huge paved grey driveway, fully equipped gym as well as stunning outdoor lighting that had been added to the front and rear of the property.

The couple have also showed off ambitions plans for their hotel resort-like garden, which is set to feature a giant pool, in-water loungers, sunbeds and two seating areas with fire pits.

Fans of the couple are yet to see much of the interior, aside from a glimpse of the wallpaper and carpet. When laying the carpet, Mark shared some strict rules that will come into force when the couple move in.

Once the underlay was down and the carpet was rolled out, Mark could be heard saying: "The colour is revealed... and this is why if you come to this house you will never be wearing shoes, or socks, you'll be washing your feet. Basically pure white with a little hint of cream, and the best thing about this, this is eco-friendly, recycled from the ocean."

The pair's property is now nearing completion with the final touches being added before Mark and Michelle can move in.

Most recently the couple showed off the latest luxury addition to be installed in their home, which was an impressive mosaic spa.

Re-sharing a post from The Mosaic Spa Company announcing his spa is on its way, the couple wrote: "Wow what a day!!!! Cannot wait for this, a dream come true, our own spa."

According to OK!, Mark and Michelle's home will be complete with five bedrooms, three dressing rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, an in-house spa and sauna, an outdoor pool and even a pool house, along with a beautifully manicured garden.
