It's fair to say there was no love lost between Danny Dyer and Mark Wright years ago.
It all kicked off back in 2012 when reports emerged claiming that TOWIE alum Mark, 36, had landed a role in a British gangster movie alongside Kelly Brook and Danny.
Danny, 45, was not happy.
"It's bad enough that Kelly Brook is supposed to be in it, but Mark Wright?" he apparently told The Sun. "Do me a favour."
The EastEnders actor made no secret of his dislike for Mark and urged the Essex natives to 'stay away' from him in an explosive 2013 interview.
Cranking the beef up a notch, the father-of-three told of his agony at being mistaken for Mark in a cafe, claiming, "It put me right off my beans."
"I don't know him, but he's everything I hate about this whole celebrity world," Danny raged to Digital Spy.
Taking issue with Mark's ambition, he continued: "It's mainly because of some of his quotes saying he wants to be the next James Bond. If he's the next James Bond, it's over for me.
"It's the arrogance of it all - it irritates me. Mark's not up my street, he'll never be a mate of mine - good luck to him, just stay away from me."
And tensions boiled over when the warring pair butted heads at a charity football match, where Mark's brother Joshua claimed his sibling had given Danny a 'slap' in the changing rooms.
It all kicked off when Danny took a not so subtle shot at then Heart FM presenter and Oykos brand ambassador Mark on Twitter, writing: "My worst nightmare would be listening to Heart FM while eating an Oykos yoghurt. It would be like p***ing razorblades."
Referring to the soap star's hated nickname, Joshus hit back: "Malcolm you must still be hurting from when Mark gave you a slap in the changing room that day.get over it you melt (sic)"
But Danny refused to take it lying down and quickly responded, saying the alleged incident took place at a charity match for 'terminally ill children', adding that Mark ran 'behind his dad' after the slap.
"What a geezer," he teased. "My bird hits harder."
Josh, however, shared a different story.
"Not sure it happened like that mate you ran your mouth as always and pushed him into a corner so he protected himself by slapping you," he wrote.
"OH and by the way my dad weren't even in the room (sic)"
However, Danny was determined to have the last word, and branded Mark a "disgrace" in a series of tweets.
"Hardly a dig. The fact I suffered it was there was kids waiting outside with months to live. He's a disgrace," he tweeted.
"We all know what happened. He took a bang liberty. End of. He ain't a bit on me. Crack on."
Then in 2016 the fur went flying in the VIP section of Chelmsford's V Festival.
According to reports, Mark and his cronies got into a slanging match with Danny, who was there to watch Justin Bieber with daughter Dani Dyer, 26, and wife Jo Mas, 46.
And later that day, things allegedly turned violent with Danny claiming he was set on by a group of Mark's mates - although he confirmed that Mark was not involved.
A source told The Mirror at the time: "Everyone is shocked today. It was TOWIE vs EastEnders. It all kicked off.
"Danny emerged this morning from his bell tent and appeared to have a black eye. But he still seemed to be in an upbeat mood."
"The row broke out after they clashed with security over their friends being turned away from the Mahiki VIP area."
Recalling what happened as she saw it, Dani said she started shouting at the group when they allegedly bumped into her dad.
"I admit I was shouting that Mark Wright is a c***. Because his silly mates thought it was okay to barge past my dad knowing he was drunk," she tweeted.
"My dad is such a sensitive loving person who wouldn't want to hurt a fly. 5 on 1 is never fair. But I love you papa and seeing that just proved how I would have wished to have smacked them in the mouth."
And Danny, who was later seen with a black eye, assured her he was okay, replying: "No daughter should have 2 see their old man being toe punted in the nut by 5 complete pr*cks. I'm sweet Bae."
He also called for Mark to name the mates who took part in the alleged attack.
When Mark tweeted that he 'wasn't personally involved in any physical confrontation', his rival replied: "No.True. Where was ya?? Do you wanna declare who ya snakey 2 Bob mates are?? Especially the 1 squaring up to my Dani."
