Mark Walsh stood down for Punchestown Festival last day after fall

Mark Walsh Punchestown Epatante JP McManus

Mark Walsh will not ride at Punchestown on Saturday after being stood down for the day.

JP McManus' retained rider looked sore after parting company with So Scottish in the EMS Copiers Novice Handicap Chase on Friday and didn't take up the rest of his rides as a result.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board confirmed on Saturday afternoon that the jockey, who partnered Dinoblue to victory earlier in the week, would not ride for the rest of the meeting.
