Draft day is weird
Show up in Boise, Idaho, and you never know who you are going to meet.
It just happened that Mark Wahlberg was at an Albertsons in Boise and ran into former Boise State Bronco defensive back J.L. Skinner.
Wahlberg was there while filming an Instagram video talking Wahlburgers and how it could be a good fit for the store.
The two encountered each other in the parking lot and Skinner obviously is excited for the draft and said he played football and is going to be drafted.
That led to Wahlberg who is a big time New England Patriots fan to send a message to Bill Belichick to draft Skinner.

“Coach, coach, come on right here,” Wahlberg said. “Don’t play around, the Jets got Aaron Rodgers over there, you got Buffalo with Josh Allen, so we gotta get the defense stacked up.”
Skinner was so giddy and jacked up to chat with Wahlberg and to get that video message was so cool to see.
Among Mountain West players, Skinner seems likely to be the first player taking from the conference and that could be a late second-day pick.
