Actor Mark Wahlberg recently revealed on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' that he tattooed his wife Rhea Durham's name on his ring finger as a romantic gesture for Valentine's Day one year. The 53-year-old Oscar nominee explained that the tattoo serves as a constant reminder of his commitment, especially when he's not wearing his ring or working.
Wahlberg shared that Durham, 46, considered it the nicest thing he has ever done for her. He humorously mentioned jokingly offering her the tattoo instead of fancy jewelry. This tattoo is now the only remaining one on his body after having all others removed over a five-year period, a process he described as 'very painful,' likening it to being flicked with hot bacon repeatedly.
Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham have been married since 2009 and have four children together: Ella, 20, Michael, 18, Brendan, 15, and Grace, 14. The three youngest children made a rare appearance at the 'Union' premiere, with Wahlberg's eldest son also showing off his own tattoo at the event.
While Ella was not present at the premiere due to being a student at Clemson University in South Carolina, Durham shared her emotional college drop-off experience on Instagram in January 2023. Wahlberg later revealed crashing a frat party at Ella's school during parents' weekend, describing the students as having the most fun he had ever seen.
