Take That star Mark Owen had fans doing a double take as he took to the stage to perform solo at the National Lottery's Big Jubilee Street Party. To mark Her Majesty the Queen's 70-year reign the Four Minute Warning singer was among the pop royalty at Manchester's AO Arena last month.
And as the event was televised on ITV as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend, viewers couldn't help but notice that Mark, from Oldham, was looking very different these days with shoulder-length hair and a moustache. He dazzled during his performance, including the massive Take That hit Shine, in a sparkling gold suit.
Many viewers took to Twitter to remark that he looked like the Leigh Francis comedy character Keith Lemon who is famed for sporting a moustache. @scottmossop asked: "When did Mark Owen turn into Keith Lemon?" And @alexr_241 said: "I didn’t even recognise that was Mark Owen."
