Former Watford and current Birmingham City striker Troy Deeney has told West Ham sporting director Mark Noble to try and sign Blues youngster George Hall.
The 18-year-old midfielder has quickly become a regular first-team player for the Championship side this season, featuring in 18 league matches this term.
Hall, who has played for England at under-18 and under-19 levels, has made five starts in England’s second tier this season, as well as 13 appearances as a substitute.

Deeney, who is a current teammate of Hall’s at St Andrews rates him highly and has revealed that he has told some Premier League clubs, including West Ham, about his quality, with Noble becoming the club’s sporting director earlier this month.
Speaking about his quality, Deeney said that he has told Noble to rush to sign him, rating the Blues teenager highly.
“We’ve got George Hall, who I think is going to be a player by the way,” Deeney told Fozcast - The Ben Foster Podcast .
“I’ve warned about five or six other teams that I know, like Nobes (Mark Noble) at West Ham, like get this kid now, he’s only 18 but he’s mustard mate.”
Another current teammate of Hall's is Hammers defender Manny Longelo. The left-back is currently on loan with Birmingham for the season.
