Tottenham will be desperate to bounce back from their midweek defeat at Burnley when they travel to Leeds on Saturday lunchtime.
Ben Mee scored the only goal of the game at Turf Moor as Spurs slipped to their fourth Premier League defeat in their last five games.
Antonio Conte’s side trail fourth-placed Manchester United by seven points, but do have two games in hand over the Red Devils.
The race for the final Champions League spot is starting to intensify as we enter the business end of the season; Spurs cannot afford too many more slip ups. However, despite their poor recent form they should fancy their chances of beating a Leeds side that lost 4-2 to Man United at the weekend and 6-0 to Liverpool on Wednesday.
Former Anfield icon Mark Lawrenson has tipped Spurs to win at Elland Road, and claimed that Marcelo Bielsa's side are struggling without star men Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford.
"Both sides had very poor results in midweek," he told BBC Sport.
"I saw the Leeds one coming because of their injuries and the fact they were going to Anfield - but Tottenham's defeat at Burnley was much more of a surprise.
"Spurs have now lost four of their past five league games and it was typical Tottenham to see them go to Manchester City and win the way they did on Saturday, then follow it up with such a limp display on a wet and windy Wednesday at Turf Moor.
"Leeds have bigger problems, though. You can't play the way they do against Liverpool and expect to get away with it, but they just don't have a Plan B.
"I'm expecting a reaction from Spurs, but I don't think Leeds can do anything different, especially with Patrick Bamford and Kalvin Phillips still out injured, which is why they have been dragged into a relegation scrap."
Score prediction: Leeds 0-2 Tottenham
However, former Liverpool striker Michael Owen disagreed with Lawrenson's prediction and has backed Bielsa's side to bounce back from their heavy loss at Anfield with victory over Spurs.
"It's been a tough few weeks for Leeds, and the 6-0 defeat to Liverpool feels like they've hit rock bottom," Owen wrote in his Betvictor column.
"The pressure is really on them now, particularly with the struggles they've had at the back.
"The defeat to Burnley in mid-week has really heightened the pressure on Spurs. Four defeats out of five is choking from, and Conte is clearly not happy. That result against Man City is looking like a freak result.
"This game could define the rest of the season for these two. As bad as Leeds have been, I still think the desire and mood around the squad will be good, I'm not sure the same can be said about Spurs."
Score prediction: Leeds 2-1 Tottenham
