FORMER Celtic and Dundee player Mark Fotheringham is in talks to take over a Bundesliga side, according to a report.
The 38-year-old is said to be in talks with Bochum.
The Scottish Sun say that the the German top flight strugglers have identified the ex-Norwich ace as a suitable candidate for the vacant manager's job.
There's never been a Scottish manager in the Bundesliga.
So if Fotheringham is handed the reins, he will create his own piece of history.
Fotheringham was assistant manager to Felix Magath at Hertha Berlin last season.
Among their squad is former Celtic players Cristian Gamboa and Saidy Janko.
