Mark Drakeford suggests 'time has come' for Welsh Office to be scrapped

FORMER first minister Mark Drakeford has suggested it is time to consider scrapping the Welsh Office in Whitehall.

The former Labour politician, who led the Welsh government from 2018 to 2024, said the Government department’s time might be up in an interview with the Welsh-language broadcaster S4C.
