First Minister Mark Drakeford has revealed what King Charles III said to him when he visited Wales on Friday. It was His Majesty and Queen Consort's first official visit since the Queen died last Thursday.
Speaking to TalkTV, Mr Drakeford said the impact of the cost-of-living crisis came up in conversation with the new monarch during their audience. He disclosed that the King said he felt “concerned” about how people will manage during what is going to be a “difficult winter” for many.
It came after the royal couple addressed the Welsh Parliament for the first time and attended prayer and reflection service at Llandaff Cathedral as the final part of their UK tour.
