It’s safe to say that domestic support for Israel isn’t what it once was. Data from Pew Research shows that in spring 2022, 55% of US adults had a favorable view of Israel. The most recent figures from Marquette Law School indicate that this has collapsed, with a Sept. 2026 poll showing just 29% of Americans now consider themselves favorable towards Israel.
Data indicates Democrats, independents, and younger Americans are leading this turn against Israel. Older Americans and Republicans are generally more supportive, but are also declining (particularly among younger Republicans).
