Mario Kart World has some exciting news in store for fans, but sadly, it's not the free DLC that many have been hoping for.

Earlier on Aug. 14, the Japanese X handle for Nintendo announced a new event that will allow you to race in 150cc races and try to establish yourself as one of the top 100 racers in the world.
