Marina Granovskaia can replicate £105m transfer to give Chelsea fans Eden Hazard dream

'Eden Hazard, the prodigal son, returns home to Chelsea and helps lead Chelsea to the 2022/23 Premier League trophy.'

I can picture the scenes of this make-belief scenario. Chelsea should work towards making this dream a reality. Just take a look at how Phillippe Coutinho made his return to the Premier League for Aston Villa after being sold from Liverpool for £105m plus add-ons in January 2018.

Coutinho already has a premier league goal under his belt after just playing 22 minutes of football. He helped lead Aston Villa's come back against Manchester United. The result ended 2-2, but Coutinho had won over the fans.

Nostalgia hit for neutral fans watching as they watched the Brazilian light up Villa park. I would give anything to watch Eden Hazard do this again.

I still stand by the fact that Eden Hazard is welcome back to Stamford Bride at any time. There is no shame in admitting that he has had a torrid time with his dream move to European giants Real Madrid. Since his move in 2019, Hazard has missed 61 games in total due to injury. Considering that he only missed 22 games throughout his seven years with Chelsea, this is quite a scary stat.

La Liga hasn’t necessarily been kind to our star Premier League players. Despite his incredible form with Liverpool in previous years, Coutinho struggled to find his feet after his move to Barcelona in 2018. He had an underwhelming first season with Barca. Coutinho was loaned to Bayern Munich under Hansi Flick and won the Champions League with his limited game time. However, he proved that he was still a talented baller.

Eden Hazard has pretty much suffered the same fate as Coutinho. His injuries have gotten in the way of his career, and he currently remains stagnant in progress. Vinicius Jr has now occupied that left-wing role in undroppable form. It is an uphill battle for Madrid’s £89m signing and he cannot fight it without the necessary belief and support behind him.

A player can only be at his best when he feels the support from the fans. Chelsea will provide that love for the Belgian, and maybe they can nurture him back to fitness.

Hazard has been unjustly fouled repeatedly throughout his career suffering injuries to his ankles. He was usually the most fouled player every season. His health was never this bad. Maybe the Chelsea medical staff has something that Real Madrid does not.

There are several forwards at Chelsea currently who may be leaving this summer. It'll be wise for Chelsea to look for reinforcements, and I don't think there will be any harm in taking a page out of Villa's book. Real Madrid is willing to offload the Belgian magician so let's bring him home.
