Mariah Carey has spilled all of the details on her wild Christmas celebrations and said she makes sure to create her own holiday 'moment'.
The undeniable Queen of Christmas opened up about her plans for the holidays as she graced the cover of W Magazine's winter edition.
Mariah flaunted her incredible figure while posing for a series of snaps for the photoshoot. In one picture, the 52-year-old donned a little black dress which she wore with a pair of knee-high boots.
Her long hair was styled into loose waves as she held onto her outfit, bending down for the camera. In another photo, Mariah slipped into a white low-cut top, which she paired with a chic fur jacket.
She also wore a skintight pencil skirt and completed her look with a pair of silver statement earrings.
One of the pictures showed the Obsessed hitmaker sporting a black silk shirt which she decided to leave mostly unbuttoned. She paired this with matching trousers and accessorised the look with a simple bracelet.
Speaking about her festive plans, Mariah said: "I create my own Christmas moment. I mean, Santa Claus visits us. He comes with his reindeer. I am not exaggerating—this is the truth."
She also confirmed that she had been doing the same things even before her children — eleven-year-olds Moroccan and Monroe — were born.
Mariah opened up about why Christmas makes her really happy.
She said: "When you grow up with a messed-up life and then you’re able to have this transformation where you can make your life what you want it to be? That is joy for me.
"That’s why I want my kids to have everything they can have. I want them to be able to understand that they can be anything they want to be."
The singer is probably most-famous for her hit song All I Want For Christmas Is You.
She said the idea for her to do a festive album came from her record company and she jumped at the chance, though never imagined it would become "such a major part of my life".
Mariah had been living with her first husband Tommy Mottola when she picked up a keyboard and started creating the now iconic Christmas song.
She performed the song on Wednesday during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, where she left fans in tears as her "adorable" twins joined her on stage.
W Magazine Volume 6 The Holiday Issue is on stands December 6th.
