A huge congratulations are in order for Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley, who have welcomed their first baby! Is it a Barbie? Is it a Ken? Is it a plane?
In fact, it’s a tiny baby boy, who apparently arrived a few weeks ago. The famously private couple (remember their iconic wedding photo?) have yet to confirm the news themselves, but sources confirmed to the Daily Mail the baby was born on October 17 and “all is well”.
We don’t have a name for the bub yet, but given how Margot Robbie herself has influenced the popularity of the name Margot, we can probably assume that whichever name they pick will work its way into the most popular baby boy name charts. (Something to finally knock your Liams and Theodores off the top 10?, perhaps?)
News broke that the Barbie star and her film producer husband were expecting their first child back in July this year. Technically, they never confirmed the news via an official statement, but Margot was rocking the baby bump on a red carpet for My Old Ass earlier this year. That’s good enough for us.
This baby might be all of two weeks old, but honestly, we’re kinda jealous. Genetics and brains? (Margot and Tom not only co-founded Lucky Chap Productions together, which is behind Barbie, I, Tonya and Promising Young Woman, among others, but they also created Papa Salt gin with a bunch of friends in lockdown.) This kid’s got it all.
