Australian star Margot Robbie and Emma Mackey - who played Maeve Wiley in the hit Netflix show Sex Education - are among an all-star cast signed up for Greta Gerwig’s forthcoming live-action Barbie movie.
The film, which is expected to hit cinemas next summer, is currently in the shooting phase. Gerwig, who previously directed Lady Bird and Little Women, is signed up to direct the new Barbie movie and is also co-writing it with her partner Noah Baumbach.
Margot Robbie, who’s previously enjoyed critical and commercial success with her roles in films including The Wolf of Wall Street and The Suicide Squad, will star in the title role. But who else is in the new Barbie movie - and when exactly is it coming out?
