The Baltimore Ravens went through plenty of adversity over the course of the 2023 season, whether it was injuries, travel, or other areas. However, they still willed their way to a 13-4 record, good for the best mark in the AFC and the No. 1 seed in the conference.
“I mean, we knew what we signed up for this year. We started off in training camp talking about what the year was going to look like, and we just put our head down and continued to grind and continued to work hard. And we come out here in the games, and we just take it one play at a time, one step at a time [and] one game at a time. That’s what we do.”
When safety Marcus Williams was asked about how the early adversity that the team faced helped them prepare for the playoffs, he shared just how pivotal it was. He talked about how they continued to work hard, and that hard work paid off.
