Wayne Rooney has rather controversially suggested Marcus Rashford's return to form may be down to his focus finally being on solely football rather than the charity work he does off the pitch.
Since the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, Rashford has worked tirelessly on a number of good causes away from the game - including holding the government to task in a bid to improve the lives of children in this country by campaigning for free school meals after admitting he struggled with that particular issue himself growing up.
While this is seemingly a feel-good story of a footballer giving back on a national scale, Rooney has encouraged his old United team-mate to 'just focus on his football' if he wants to maintain this kind of form on a regular basis.
