Marcus Rashford is hoping that Manchester United's 2-0 Carabao Cup final victory over Newcastle United at Wembley on Sunday afternoon will lead to further success.
The Reds got the job done before half-time thanks to a firm header from Casemiro and an own-goal from Magpies centre-back Sven Botman. Newcastle enjoyed most of the possession after the interval but never did enough to threaten David de Gea's record-breaking clean sheet between the sticks.
United were far from their best in terms of their overall performance but were resolute enough and streetwise enough to get the job done and end their six-year wait for a trophy. Having brought their silverware drought to an end at the first opportunity possible under manager Erik ten Hag, Rashford, who thought he had scored United's second goal, only for it to later go down as an own-goal, is determined to keep adding to the club's collection.

"It's a mixture of all the emotions," Rashford told Sky Sports. "It's massive for us to be involved in these types of games and it's something we've missed as a club.
"The fact we've come all this way and won it, it's a massive feeling. Hopefully it pushes us now to keep going.
"There's hunger to add more finals like this. I've been in finals where we've won and lost. It's massive for us as a club and individuals and it's part of our history. We want to keep adding to that."
United's victory was inspired by an outstanding midfield performance from Casemiro. The Brazilian scooped the Man of the Match award and was a leader throughout the contest, meaning he earned special recognition from Rashford.
He added: "He makes a huge difference. His leadership and experience in big games is huge for us.
"When he's on the pitch, you feel that sense of security behind you. It's massive for us and I'm buzzing for him today - his first trophy for the club."
