Marcus Rashford thinks Alejandro Garnacho made a "brilliant" impression on his full Manchester United debut against FC Sheriff.
Garnacho, 18, made his debut for the first team against Chelsea in the Premier League at the end of last season, but he was yet to start for the first team until Thursday night when Erik ten Hag gave him an opportunity in the Europa League.
Ten Hag named a strong side to play Sheriff in the Europa League group stage and Garnacho started at left wing. Cristiano Ronaldo started down the middle, Antony played on the right and Garnacho did not look short of confidence in that attack.

Garnacho looked dangerous throughout the match and it was an impressive full debut in front of the Old Trafford crowd. Rashford exploded into the first team himself as a youngster and he delivered his verdict on Garnacho after the game:
"Yeah, he [Garnacho] did brilliantly," Rashford told MUTV. "I think he expressed himself and played positive football and the only thing missing was a goal really. I bet that would have made him very happy and yeah, I'm pleased for him.
"Hopefully he can kick on now, start getting more minutes and keep performing." Garnacho is under contract at United until the summer of 2025.
