Marcus Rashford admitted that he believes his current run of form in front of goal is arguably the best he has experienced in his career so far after scoring again in Manchester United's 3-1 win over Everton in the third round of the FA Cup at Old Trafford on Friday evening.
After playing key roles in United's opening two goals of the evening, Rashford dispatched a penalty deep into second-half stoppage time to put the gloss on the victory, sealing the Reds' place in the draw for the next round. It marked his fifth goal in as many games, meaning he has scored in each of United's five fixtures since the campaign resumed after the World Cup.
He was a constant threat throughout the encounter, providing the assist for Antony's early opener and then a low cross that was turned into the Everton net by defender Conor Coady at the start of the second half. He terrorised Toffees right-back Seamus Coleman, too, regularly sending him one way and then another.
