Borussia Dortmund boss Marco Rose reckons his side have recovered quickly ahead of facing Rangers at Ibrox.
Dortmund scored six against Borussia Monchengladbach as the players reacted to the Europa League humbling from the Premiership champions.
Goals from Marcos Reus and Donyell Malen put Dortmund in control over six first-half minutes and Marius Wolf and Youssoufa Moukoko chipped in to put some gloss on the scoreline.
Reus then made it five as Dortmund and a late Emre Can penalty put the icing on the cake as the Bundesliga sides put down a marker ahead of the second leg at Ibrox.
Following the rout, Rose demanded that his players build on the result when they face Rangers on Thursday.
He told DAZN: "I'm satisfied with the game, the result and the performance over long stretches. It was the right reaction (to Rangers defeat).
"We have an important Bundesliga game won, now it's about showing we can follow it up.
"In a large group, it's always about finding solutions and working in a solution-oriented manner.
"At the end of the day, we need a common consensus for that, because sometimes you have to tell yourself the truth.
"It's about investing everything that is necessary for the club, the fans, the success of Borussia Dortmund week after week and during the week to achieve goals."
