Marco Pierre White has been spotted having a slap-up breakfast in Neath, and he was said to be "amazed" by the amount of Welsh produce available on its menu. The famous chef, who has a restaurant chain under his own name in the SA1 area of Swansea, was pictured tucking into a full English at Juniper Place in Neath, his plate featuring the full works - sausage, bacon, egg, tomatoes, toast, hash brown and beans.
He is turning into something of a regular at the restaurant, having also been spotted there in October earlier this year, on that occasion tucking into a pizza.
Executive chef at the restaurant, Dan Crouch spoke of his delight at cooking for the 60-year-old, who became the first British chef to ever be awarded three Michelin stars. Get stories like this straight to your inbox with our newsletters.
Executive chef at the restaurant, Dan Crouch said: "It was fantastic to have Marco Pierre White visit us in our Neath venue, he was amazed at the amount of Welsh produce we include in our menus and gave us some hints and tips where we can make our menus even better, we are looking forward to welcoming him back again soon."
Mr White's visit comes on the back of a visit to his own restaurant in September. We reported how he took time to discuss new menu ideas and dishes with head chef John Taylor and some lucky customers enjoying their meals. You can read about his Swansea visit in full by clicking here.
