In 2025, Marco Penge enjoyed his best season to date, racking up three wins on the DP World Tour at the Hainan Classic, Danish Golf Championship and Open de Espana.
Earning his PGA Tour card, the Englishman will be a rookie on the circuit in 2026, but it's not just the only change of Penge's, who was also revealed to be PXG's newest signing.
Previously, Penge had been a Mizuno staffer, signing a multi-year deal with the brand in 2022 as part of its #MizNextGen.
At the time, he was using Mizuno equipment and wearing their clothing, with the 27-year-old claiming two Challenge Tour titles, topping its 2023 Order of Merit and earning his playing status on the DP World Tour for 2024.

Driver
Penge is known for being one of the best drivers of the golf ball in the world, ranking first for Strokes Gained Off The Tee on the DP World Tour in 2025, averaging 319.26 yards in the process.
For 2026, he has changed his Mizuno ST-X 230 to the PXG Lightning Tour Mid driver, which is a Tour option that provides strong, consistent and tight dispersion, as well as a premium aesthetic.
Although it's currently unclear as to what the specs are of the new big stick, his previous gamer had 9.5° of loft with hot melt in the low center of the head. He also had a Fujikura Ventus TR Black 7 X with 1.5 inches of tipping in the ST-X 230.
Mini Driver
The next club in Penge's set-up is the PXG Secret Weapon mini driver, which replaces the TaylorMade BRNR Copper mini driver that has been in his bag for a number of years.
Penge has struggled with using 3-woods previously, hence the addition of the mini driver, which Penge claimed help with producing the draw that the Englishman is searching for in his ball flight.
One of the best mini drivers on the market, the PXG Secret Weapon was released at the start of 2025 and has made its way into the bag of Jake Knapp, who is another big hitter on the PGA Tour.
Previously, Penge had the Fujikura Ventus TR Black 8 X shaft in his TaylorMade BRNR Copper mini driver.
Utility Iron
One of the non-PXG clubs in Penge's bag is the Mizuno Pro Fli Hi utility iron, which we believe has stayed in his set-up as the three-time DP World Tour winner has called it "a big asset."
Throughout 2025, videos cropped up on social media of Penge driving par 4s with this club, producing 175mph of ball speed in the process.
Fitted with a Fujikura Ventus Black HB 10TX shaft and 15° of loft, Penge explained to Golf Monthly: "Before I was any good, I'd say I couldn't really keep the ball on the planet in the past, so this was a big replacement for driver when driver wasn't behaving in my earlier days... I would never go away from having a 2-iron in my bag, it's quite a big asset of mine."
Irons
In the irons, Penge had the Mizuno Pro S3 from 4-iron to pitching wedge but, with the new PXGs, he has opted for a slightly different set-up.
Possessing a PXG prototype 4-iron, his irons of choice for the majority of the bag is the PXG 0317 ST from 5-iron to pitching wedge, a Tour-inspired model that still ranks as one of the best golf blade irons money can buy.
KBS V10 130X shafts were in his previous gamers, with it unclear as to whether they've remained in the PXG.
Another point is how strong Penge has the new set of irons. Speaking to Golf Monthly last year, he revealed his Pro S3s were two-degrees stronger, having previously been four-degrees stronger.
The reason was to try and keep his flight and spin down, a problem caused by being an extremely fast swinger of the golf club.
Wedges
Moving to the scoring section of the bag, where Penge has kept the Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges in-play, specifically the Raw version in 50°, 56° and 60°.
Known as being one of the best golf wedges on the market, each of his wedges are fitted with different shafts, with the 50° possessing a KBS V10 130X, the same shaft he had in his Mizuno irons.
From there, we find a Project X 7.0 Wedge in his 56° sand wedge and a standard Project X 7.0 in his 60°.
Adding a personal touch, Penge's gap wedge is stamped with his wife Sophie's name, his sand wedge has his dog Otis' name while his lob wedge is stamped with the name of his son, Enzo.
Putter
The final club in his bag is the putter, and this is often the most changed aspect of Penge's set-up, with the Englishman using three different models for his three DP World Tour wins in 2025.
At the Hainan Classic, he had a Scotty Cameron Super Rat I, which is a blade style design. For his victory in Denmark, it was a Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.2 Tour Proto, while his victory in Spain was with a Scotty Cameron GOLO 6.2 Tour Prototype, a compact mallet based on the Super Select GOLO 6 head shape.
Given his success with Scotty Cameron putters, with the manufacturer producing some of the best flat sticks on the market, it's not a surprise to see Penge continuing to use them on the professional circuits.
Golf Ball
Penge previously used the Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot but, in 2024, opted for the standard Pro V1, due to its higher-spinning nature.
Arguably the best golf ball around, it's the most-used on the professional circuits and, speaking about the change, Penge stated: "Last year (2024), (I had) stronger irons, stronger lofts so I was using the Left Dot. Everything was towards low launch, low spin. Made some technical changes with my coach this year, (and am) able to hit more variety of shots.
"I'm in the 25 (Titleist Pro V1) which is similar to the Left Dot but not as low launching. Predominantly as a high speed player, spin is the issue the majority of the time, it's just trying to find that balance."
Apparel/Shoes
The final aspect is Penge's apparel and footwear, with the Englishman wearing adidas since signing with the brand in February 2024.
