
At the Alpine skiing world championships in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria, Marco Odermatt put on a stellar performance in the men's super-G event. Odermatt, representing Switzerland, showcased his exceptional skills on the slopes and emerged as the top contender after the completion of runs by the highest-ranked racers.
With a remarkable lead of one second, Odermatt outpaced Raphael Haaser of Austria, who secured the second position. Adrian Smiseth Sejerstad from Norway also delivered a strong performance, finishing 1.15 seconds behind Odermatt to claim the third spot on the podium.
