Marcelo Bielsa sticks to his guns with Leeds United starting XI as team news v Everton confirmed

Leeds United's trip to Merseyside this weekend sees them attempt to win back-to-back Premier League fixtures at Goodison Park.

Last season, Raphinha's solitary strike was enough to earn all three points for the Whites, although this will be the first time Leeds have played in front of a capacity Goodison Park since 2003/04.

Frank Lampard is in charge for today's hosts, newly-installed since the departure of Rafa Benitez earlier this season.

This will be Lampard's first home league game as Everton manager and the ex-Chelsea and Derby County boss will be hoping to make it two wins in-a-row following the FA Cup triumph over Brentford.

Leeds United played out an enthralling 3-3 draw with Aston Villa in midweek.

This afternoon, Marcelo Bielsa has named largely the same squad which made the trip to Villa Park.

Crysencio Summerville and Charlie Cresswell have been recalled to the travelling party after Monday's 3-0 win over Liverpool for the U23 side.

Summerville had a hand in all three goals during that fixture and has been rewarded for his form with this latest recall.

Fellow U23s Leo Hjelde, Joe Gelhardt and Lewis Bate are also with the squad on Merseyside.

In the starting XI, Marcelo Bielsa has named Illan Meslier, Stuart Dallas and Pascal Struijk, while Diego Llorente and Robin Koch also start.

The defence came in for praise at Villa Park despite the three goals conceded, while in attack Daniel James is expected to continue at No. 9 in Patrick Bamford's absence.

James netted twice against the Villans and retains his place as the spear-tip of Bielsa's attack, despite calls for Gelhardt from the beginning.

He is straddled by Jack Harrison - who reunites with former New York City FC teammate Frank Lampard - and Raphinha on opposing flanks.

Adam Forshaw continues on the bench following his return from injury in midweek. Mateusz Klich retains his spot in midfield.

Here is the Leeds United starting XI and substitutes this afternoon at Goodison Park.

Leeds United XI: Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Struijk, Dallas; Koch, Klich, Rodrigo; Harrison, Raphinha, James

Subs: Klaesson, Bate, Hjelde, Kenneh, Summerville, Roberts, Gelhardt, Forshaw, Shackleton
