Chelsea have registered Marc Cucurella in time for a possible debut against Everton on Saturday after his £62million move from Brighton went through just minutes before the midday deadline.

The paperwork has been sent to the Premier League after the contracts were signed at the club’s Cobham training base, and an official announcement is now understood to be imminent.
