More wintry showers and snow could be about to fall according to the latest weather forecast maps.
The north west and other parts of the UK are still expected to be plunged into temperatures below 0, despite the arrival of Spring. Weather maps, from WXCharts, show several centimetres of snow falling in Scotland, with southern areas seeing wintry showers.
The Express reports that temperatures will be around -1C across Britain, marking a cold end to the month just as the clocks go forward on March 26. Writing on Net Weather, Nick Finnis said the UK should expect a mild period of weather followed by a cold end to the month.
