A British man who has been circumnavigating the globe on foot since 1998 is back on home soil after swimming the English Channel.

Karl Bushby, from Hull, who started his epic journey in Chile 28 years ago walked onto Shakespeare beach, south of Dover on Monday afternoon 5 October.
