One in 20 of Brit employees claim they would not be able to cover their bills for a week if they lost their main job, a new worrying report has found.
And one in six (15%) would not be able to last a month, the research from the Building Societies Association (BSA) discovered.
As the cost of living crisis hits hard, more than half adults (61%) also said they found it a struggle to pay their bills.
