Khephren Thuram and Manu Kone have been spotted together amid speculation linking them both with moves to Liverpool.
Alexis Mac Allister has been given permission to undergo a medical as Liverpool close in on their first signing of the summer. Mac Allister is now set to be routinely checked over by the club's medical department before officially becoming a Reds player when the transfer window opens later this month.
However, both Thuram and Kone have been linked with moves to Anfield this month as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his midfield after a below-par campaign in which his side missed out on next season’s Champions League.
The pair know each other, having played youth football together for Paris club AC Boulogne-Billancourt and later in the same French U21 side. Thuram is currently at OGC Nice in Ligue 1, and Kone is at German side Borussia Monchengladbach.

Both Thuram and Kone were filmed together on Tuesday by Thuram's older brother, Marcus, who posted a video of the pair to his Instagram story. In the clip, Kone is filmed chatting with Thuram in the street.
Speaking to French TV earlier this year, Kone said: "Khephren is a brother by blood. He is my football pal. Before the selections, we were always together."
