NEW DELHI: Star shooter Manu Bhaker, India's first athlete to win two medals in a single edition of the Olympics, narrowly missed out on adding a third medal in the 25m pistol competition, finishing fourth while archer Deepika Kumari also faced disappointment as India's archery campaign came to a disappointing end at the Paris Games on Saturday.
India remain with three medals in total and occupies the 49th place in the medal tally with excitement high for Sunday as key events featuring Lakshya Sen in badminton, Lovlina Borgohain in boxing, and the hockey team in quarterfinals on the roster.
