Community groups, businesses and people can apply for additional funding for projects that will make a difference in local neighbourhoods. Mansfield District Council was allocated £2.95m in December 2022 to cover three years as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) in which applications are now open.
The fund is designed to provide pride in a place and increase life chances across the UK by investing in communities and supporting local businesses and people. Community and voluntary groups can apply for funding through the Mansfield Community Grant Fund.
This route offers a maximum of £15,000 in grants for projects that will make a difference in local areas. However, bids for projects over £15,000 can be made through The Mansfield UKSPF Communities and Place. Applications for this route are open now through the council’s website.
