A man sits at a patio table on a wooden deck with a plate of food in front of him, dressed in a Toronto Blue Jays T-shirt, his lips swollen well beyond their usual size. He keeps eating and talking through it, seemingly unbothered by the swelling. The scene plays out over roughly 24 seconds, filmed outside during what looks like an ordinary family dinner.
The video comes from TikTok creator Abby Heinen, who says her sister filmed their father and later sent her the footage. On-screen text explains what viewers are looking at, “my dads allergic reaction to a bee in his beer.” By the time she starts recording, the swelling has already set in, and her dad is going about dinner as though nothing has changed.
