Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring in his maiden exhibition fight this weekend against DK Yoo.
Pacquiao hasn't fought since losing in his WBA welterweight title clash against Yordenis Ugas last year. The Filipino star retired following the loss to focus on his campaign to try and become his country's president but fell short.
Now he will follow in the footsteps of his long-term rival Floyd Mayweather by taking on opposition from the social media world, in DK Yoo who also has experience in martial-arts. A win for the boxing legend could see him set up a whole host of high-profile events in 2023 including a potential second meeting with Mayweather in the exhibition ranks.

Pacquiao: “I am very thankful for this opportunity and excited for the exhibition,” Pacquiao said. ”The fight is real. We will try to knock each other out. That’s why we need to work hard. DK Yoo, see you in the special event this coming December. God Bless and be safe.
"I am going to prove that I'm still there in this sport and that Manny Pacquiao is not done yet. It's a great experience to face a martial arts expert and I'm excited for that. I'm also excited to get back to training like what we used to do before and now I'm trying to prove that Manny Pacquiao is still there in boxing."
Yoo: "I am very excited, he's one of the very best boxers in the world," he added. "But I am just focused on my movement in this event against Manny Pacquiao. I will just try to knock him down, I'm going to apply my movement to the boxing. I'm younger, I am heavier and I have longer arms than him so I will just focus on that."
