India's tables tennis icon Manika Batra reached a new pinnacle in her career, climbing to World No. 24 in the latest ITTF Rankings unveiled on Tuesday. This remarkable ascent saw her soar 15 spots, leaping from her previous position at No. 39.
Not only did she secure her status as India's top-ranked player once again, surpassing Sreeja Akula, but at 25 years old, Manika also etched her name in history as the first Indian woman to break into the top 25 singles rankings.
