Manhunt under way after convicted child rapist absconds from leave

Convicted child rapist Cliff Lyons Dobbie has absconded from escorted community leave in Perth city centre, Scotland.
Dobbie was convicted in 1990 for raping a 10-year-old girl while on bail for sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy.
Police Scotland has launched a manhunt, treating him as a missing person, and has warned the public not to approach him.
He is described as 5ft 3in, stocky, bald, with blue eyes and a noticeable squint, and has distinctive tattoos including a Rangers tattoo.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts, particularly his links to Glasgow, is urged to contact police immediately.
