Mangaluru: Bajpe police inspector, 3 others suspended for beating youths

MANGALURU: City police commissioner N Shashi Kumar has ordered the suspension of inspector Sandesh PG and three other staff members of Bajpe police station, pending an inquiry into an allegation that they assaulted three youths in the police station on Friday.

While one youth is being treated at the Sanjeevani Hospital in Kateel, the other two were admitted to the Government Wenlock Hospital and are being treated for bruises.
