Mandy Moore thinks all new moms just need "support" at Christmas.
The 40-year-old pop star has Gus, three, Ozzie, two, as well as three-month-old Louise with husband Taylor Goldsmith and explained when asked about the "perfect" present for mothers that "service and support" will go much further than any material gift.
She told E! News: " I would gift them a gift certificate. You tell me when you need to tap out and get a massage or get your hair done, and I will come and watch your baby and do some laundry or cook a meal for you.
"I know that sounds silly, but offering yourself to be of service and support like that, I think, goes the longest way. Because we all can buy the things that we need and look online, on Instagram and social media, and see all the different gadgets and things that we think we need. But truly being of service and support goes the longest way."
The former 'This Is Us' actress also revealed that she is still fan of the somewhat outdated tradition of sending and receiving cards around the festive season and also likes to prioritise the loved ones she hasn't had the chance to see throughout the year.
She said: "One of my favorite holiday traditions is being able to send and receive holiday cards. I love it. I love being able to catch up with friends and family and people that we haven't necessarily been able to see over the course of the year, and see what they're up to. I save all of my holiday cards each year.
"I'm a big fan of the candid [holiday card] photo - like you see the picture and it makes you smile, maybe not everybody's looking at the camera."
