The Mancunian Way is set to close to traffic during a number of nights for 'vital repair works'.
The first phase will see the west-bound lanes closed overnight to traffic for repair works and traffic surveys. When the works are complete, the carriageway will re-open and 'phase two' will see the east-bound lanes closed during a number of nights.
To minimise disruption, specialist bridge inspections will also take place during the closures as part of the routine upkeep of the carriageway as will gully cleansing and street light repairs.

The west-bound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 8pm and 5am, on Thursday, March 16, and on the following Monday and Tuesday (March 20 and 21), Manchester City Council has said.
During the closure, diversion routes will be put in place.
Once work has been completed on the west-bound section, the east-bound carriageway will be closed from Monday, March 27, to Thursday, March 30. The closures will take place during the same time period, between 8pm and 5am.
Additional information and updates will be found through the council's social media channels.
Coun Tracey Rawlins, executive member for environment and transport, said: "We’d like to thank motorists in advance for their patience during the course of these works.
"“The safety of our road users is a top priority which is why it’s essential these repair works take place as soon as possible.
"I’d encourage drivers to plan their journeys ahead to minimise any disruption, and make sure to check our social media pages for any updates."
