A family is desperately seeking help to get their youngest sister home from Vietnam for treatment at The Christie Hospital following a shock cancer diagnosis. Selena Danson, from south Manchester, began suffering with back pain in August 2022 which gradually got worse.
Despite numerous trips to hospital, including x-rays, the 39-year-old, who moved to Vietnam to teach, was told she had a slipped disc. However, things escalated and she was rushed to hospital where she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cervical cancer in December.
The stage four cancer has sadly spread from her cervix to her lymph nodes and to her liver. Now Selena is desperately seeking to go home to Didsbury and be with her family.
