Here are your Manchester United morning headlines for Saturday, April 9:
Garnacho becoming hard for United to ignore
Alejandro Garnacho once again stole the show as United’s Under-23s beat Chelsea at Old Trafford last night. The 17-year-old took his tally for the season to six with a well-taken strike to further enhance his growing reputation.
It capped off a memorable week for the teenager, who trained with the first team at Carrington for most of the week as injuries take their toll on Ralf Rangnick’s squad. He also put pen to paper on a contract with Nike, confirming his status as a face for the future.

United have been keen to keep things calm when it comes to the former Atletico Madrid youngster. Having already earned a call-up to the Argentina squad last month though, it’s becoming harder and harder for the Reds to ignore Garnacho.
Rangnick makes training admission ahead of Everton
United are in desperate need of a win this afternoon. With their top four hopes flailing and the mood around Old Trafford continuing to plummet, they can ill-afford another disappointing result against Everton.
Plenty of questions have been levelled at Rangnick since his arrival at Old Trafford, and thus far the German has been unable to find an answer to United’s dismal showings. As they come up the relegation-threatened Toffees though, they have the chance to give their hopes a much-needed lift.
And having criticised his players for a lack of physicality last week, the interim boss has been busy trying to improve matters. "We trained well, we trained on a very aggressive level in the last couple of days, and now it is up to play as we trained,” Rangnick said at his pre-match press conference.
