Manchester United youngster Zidane Iqbal shares warm embrace with UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov

Manchester United youngster Zidane Iqbal shared a warm embrace with UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov as the pair met over the weekend.

It appears the meeting took place during Khabib's ongoing UK tour, which is raising money for Human Appeal charity. The charity's website says it is a non-profit organisation "working across the globe to strengthen humanity’s fight against poverty, social injustice and natural disaster".

In photos shared by talk organisers Class A Events, Iqbal is seen alongside the retired UFC star as the pair both look at something on the United star's phone. Iqbal also uploaded a series of photos to his Instagram stories which also included the goat emoji, meaning Greatest of All Time.

In one of the images shared by Iqbal the duo are also seen sharing a warm embrace.

Tickets for the event range from £15 to £350 while the VIP package, which include a meet-and-greet, exclusive photo opportunity and premium seating in the front two rows will set punters back an eye-watering £1,000.

An event took place at the ICC in Birmingham on Friday, September 9, before hitting the road for Excel London on Sunday, September 11. A description of the event on the Human Appeal website reads: "Support your brothers and sisters in Pakistan at an exclusive charity evening with living legend, Khabib Nurmagomedov, one of the greatest athletes of all time and the first Muslim to be inducted in the UFC Hall of Fame."

Khabib shared a video on his Instagram page following the event, the caption of which read: "Thank you Birmingham! You were amazing! I had a great time with you all. Next stop London. See you tomorrow!"

Iqbal has been training with Manchester United's senior squad in recent weeks as he aims to break into Erik ten Hag's plans.
